Life by Chocolate

Chocolate, white, milk, dark, in all its forms forms life. Chocolate truffles, caramels, and other confections are at the core of enjoyment. This is life by chocolate because death by chocolate is the wrong attitude.

NJ been bery, bery good to me

Well, our trip to NJ was incredible. Not only did we get an opportunity to stay in Cape May and see Kim's Grandmother's house in Cape May Point but we also got to see the NJ shore as well as Central and Eastern Jersey. Even more so than wunnerful MA, where my mom grew up, the New Jerseyans (or if you are from New York, New Jerseyites) started ordering and not small orders either. They did New Jersey proud. Now we have six stores in New Jersey. And we are loving it. I have pictures and I'll be putting them up ASAP. I'm too busy right now making chocolates with my staff.

And everyone is reordering. Life is fun. The bars are selling and I've finished the vegan bars. (Pronounced /vegan/ not /vigan/) Most of the bars come in organic as well though I use local honey and local milk and butter sometimes in my confections which are local and clean but not organically certified though they are hormone, BHT, chemicals, pesticides, etc. free. Small producers just can't afford certification.

I also have a bunch of restaurants and diners to review. Though one diner did disappoint and it was even Greek. Being from LI, I know good diners and usually NJ delivers on that score. Let's just forget that episode. Other than that, we had fun at our B&Bs and loved the food and the shore. Sigh. We can't wait to go back to Cape May.

Check back next week as I will have more time to post.

Did you stay at the John Craig house or Queen Victoria in Cape May?

No. We stayed at the Bayberry and at a place on Ocean. But the construction starting at 6:30 AM made the first place, the one on Ocean, less than idea.
